Matt Mulford
Matt is inspired by nature in much of what he does artistically. Whether it is wildlife art, landscape, fantasy, or comic illustration. He works in graphite, pen and ink, scratchboard, watercolor, acrylic, and pastel chalk. In regards to wildlife art, two artists he admires most are Robert Bateman and Kalon Baughan.
Imagination and inspiration are extremely meaningful to him. "Inspiration leads to the creation of something. It is energy, it is joy, and it's a soul lifting force. Act on it when it floats into your brain. It is a form of pure magic. Like love and nature, inspiration is a miraculous gift."
