Over 57 Whales have been killed by plastics and/or pollution near the Phillipines.

They want to stop protecting threatened species and stop protecting habitat. They want oil, mining, and logging companies to be in charge of wildlife. They want to stop listing more species. They want politics and industry to trump science.

The Republicans have stuck some anti wildlife riders (amendments) in some bills that Congress must pass ( military and appropriations). These bills make economic impacts have priority over the lives of endangered species. They also devalue science.

A sea turtle island nesting site in Australia now has 99% of its young green turtles turning female. The sex is determined by the heat of the nesting beach, so hotter seas, air, and sand lead to dramatic changes in the ratio of females to males.
